Shoaib Khan....

Our beloved brother and friend shoaib Khan departed today to the eternal world. Ina Lillah e wa ina Illahe Rajaon.I can not express my grief and sorrow in words,here are few lines written by our friends.

The beautiful, fair and round shaped face of Shoaib(May Allah rest his soul in peace) with bluish tinge in his eyes, is still fresh in my memory. He was a man with Taqwa and very refind personality. Surely, his sudden journey from temporay worldly life to permanent eaternal life, has put all of us in shock.But I am certain, he will be smiling and enjoying breezes from Janaat ul Firdos.May Allah Almighty give sabr e jameel to his family members.

I don't have words to write and my face is wet with the tears dropping down after hearing the sad demise of Shoaib.It's really very shocking and painful for all of us and specially for me. I know him very closely as we both used to play for the college Football junior and senior teams together for four years.We got the news yesterday that he had gone through one major surgery. He was really a pious and religious person. May Allah bless him and give him the place in Jannah.

Avoid Anger

Dawud :: Book 41 : Hadith 4758

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Good way, dignified good bearing and moderation are the twenty-fifth part of Prophecy.

Dawud :: Book 41 : Hadith 4764

Narrated AbuDharr:

The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said to us: When one of you becomes angry while standing, he should sit down. If the anger leaves him, well and good; otherwise he should lie down.

Dawud :: Book 41 : Hadith 4766

Narrated Atiyyah as-Sa'di:

AbuWa'il al-Qass said: We entered upon Urwah ibn Muhammad ibn as-Sa'di. A man spoke to him and made him angry. So he stood and performed ablution; he then returned and performed ablution, and said: My father told me on the authority of my grandfather Atiyyah who reported the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) as saying: Anger comes from the devil, the devil was created of fire, and fire is extinguished only with water; so when one of you becomes angry, he should perform ablution.

Dawud :: Book 41 : Hadith 4782

Narrated AbuUmamah:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a man who made his character good.

New Treasures

Kids are new tresure in my life,I remember love of our parents for us and since they have departed for the eternal world I tell my kids how our grand parents and parents loved and cared for us,its time to payback "Live so that when your children think of fairness and integrity, They think of you",here is my prayer:

A PARENT'S PRAYER

They're only little once.
Grant me the wisdom to guide them down the path that their feet should take.
For I know that they can never turn back and walk those paths with me again.
Give me the wisdom to guide their feetso that someday they'll be able to walk alone.

Give me the time I need to enjoy them.
For I know that after they're grown, I'll never have another chance
to tell stories and pretend at those tea parties.
Give me the time in life's busy scheduleto have fun with my children.

Let me be a loving parent.
Let me correct and not just punish, explain and not merely scold.
Let me know when to correct, and how often, and when it's best to just look the other way.
Help me be patient and give me a gentle hand to mould them into better people.

They're only little once.
Let me be a good teacher and an even better example.
Give me the right words and deeds to teach them.
Help me to teach them about You and how to walk in Your ways
so that when they are old they will not depart from Your ways.
For they're only little one time,
only innocent and trusting and pliable for a space of time, one minute in an eternity.
Let me do my best for them while I have the chance.

Something has been lost...

I was wondering for many years that what is that I have been missing for years now and realized that I have almost left reading books and visiting bookshops.This is the one passion I remmebr since I had power of remberence, conciousness and this all started thinking after reading famous quotation"I am because I think"......there are other treasure in life to enjoy and play with.
